Just sent in my graduation application! Life is so surreal for me right now. There are so many changes that will be happening within the next 3 months of my life. I’m way excited to graduate as that has always been a goal of mine and I can almost say that I have accomplished it! I think it is becoming more real for me now that I have turned in my application and they asked what size cap and gown I need, where they will send my diploma, and they gave me the dates for graduation…wahoo! Can’t believe it! It is almost one of those times that you feel it would never come, but ready or not it’s coming. I’m getting really excited and can’t wait to see what adventures lay ahead of me after December, I could be anywhere in the world since I have nothing tying me down!
As I reflect on what I have gained from BYU-Idaho and the activities and other opportunities I was involved in I realize how much I have learned and grown and become a better disciple of Jesus Christ. Coming to this University as a scared little 18 year old girl, I had no clue what I was doing, but since then I have definitely found who I really am and have become more confident in my abilities. My first semester here really got me outside the box. I was blessed with such great roommates that taught me so much. Since then I have been able to associate with so many great people who have helped me to get more involved and discover who I am. I have definitely been surrounded by some of the best. These past 4 years have flown by but I’m excited to take what I learned here and incorporate it in my future career, home, family, and church responsibilities. This has been such a great University for me!
So this last semester I will have it pretty easy since I really only have 1 more class to graduate but I will also be taking some other ones since I love learning! So far this is what I have: Family Relations, Family Foundations, and Interpersonal Communications. I will also be participating in Cross Country this semester and working in the IT Department. It’s going to be a great semester!
