Here we are at pond skimming! One of the craziest sports I have ever watched and would probably only happens here in Rexburg Idaho. Basically they have people on skis or snowboards go down a run and at the bottom is a pool of water where they enter and skim across as far as they can. Kind of insane, but really fun to watch. We were super excited this whole week to go and see 3 people from our ward do this event...Valerie, Bryce, and Shawn, Needless to say we missed it when they went down the run. We totally thought we would make it on time because they always take forever and kind of start late, I guess BYU-Idaho is getting ride of the Mormon Standard time and realizing it's freezing cold here in the winter so they went as fast as they could tonight so we weren't standing out there for hours. Even though we weren't able to cheer them on it was a fun night watching the others.
The rest of the night was pretty chill which was nice since I had such a busy week. I just love my roommates!
